Those two cities, followed only by Atlantic City, probably have the most prayers said per capita..that's a gold mine for a deity like that...

There is a significant difference between what happened in the days of Abraham and what is happening today. In every case of destruction as recorded in the bible the people destroyed were so wicked that righteousness could not coexist in them. Thus, the angels pulled Lot, his wife and two daughters out of the city prior to destroying it because they were the only good people left in the city. When Noah was saved in the ark, the eight people inside were the only righteous people left and all others were terminated because they could not make any further progress in mortality. By contrast, there are many good people still living in Las Vegas, San Francisco and other "bad" cities. Thus, God spares the wicked for the sake of the righteous. What you need to watch out for is when all of the good people are removed from a city, then will the wicked left behind be ready for destruction. It could happen again.

God's wrath was directed towards New Orleans first. One can guess what it has in common with Sodom.
God is not done yet; we are still here.
BTW, love to all the gay guys. You guys are a hoot.

god lives in Mesopotamia. To travel in a craft such as Noah's ark would take god years just to reach the Caribbean, but I bet if she did she wouldn't call it India!
Then she would have to discover the North American continent, wait until gold miners settled Vegas and then kill everybody with fire and Brimstone.
This is hard work for a 3000 year old deity.

Because Sodom and Gomorrah were 100% depraved. Vegas and Reno are certainly not that....
