A lot of things that I can not change, I have to accept, but I try to make what ever conditions, I am living under, work to my advantage in some way. I figure that whatever condition one finds oneself in, no matter how limiting it may be, has a purpose, and can be made to be an advantage. Limitations tend to help one focus in other direction, with less distraction. Also rough condition, keep you in a serious mood, that is conducive to empathize with people all over the world, who have to deal with so many problems. One can grow spiritually better, if one can relate to people who have problems.

Acceptance to me from what I understand is a process of acknowledging and then letting go of things and situations that I have had or currently deal with, whether I like it or not. I believe it also includes forgiveness and the willingness to forgive and let be, which is something I need to work on.

We must let go of our past and learn to forgive people and ourselves of our short comings. God accept me as I am, I learned to accept myself as I am and it's hard but I'm striving to accept things as they come my way. I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me.
