I'm so happy Carl Edwards won the Busch championship! He is my favorite driver! Do you guys think he can win a Cup championship?

I am very happy also!!!!!!! Wish he could win cup this year but that is pretty much between Johnson & Gordon. Maybe next year, or the year after. Carl is a young guy with a lot of talent and I believe a big - bright future ahead of him in NASCAR, if he chooses to stay, which all indications are that he will!

Of course he has the potential to win a Cup championship; in case you forgot, in '05 he was tied for second in points with Greg Biffle.
Probably not this year, but congrats to Carl for winning the final Busch championship.

Sorry, but I was hoping for a major upset from David Reutimann. I do not think Carl can win a Cup championship at this point....maybe in the future. I found his behavior with Matt Kenseth disturbing; I don't care how Nascar tries to sugarcoat it. Time will tell what he's really made of. He has the charm, but it takes more than that to win the Nextel Cup.

Well i'm happy for Carl, and I think he can win a Cup Championship. He has talent and good cars, so its very possible.

I want Carl Edwards to win it all more than I do Jimmie. Nothing against the #48 but I want someone else get it this year especially in a Ford.

Carl winning The Busch league is not a big deal. Its easy for these Busch whackers to steal the championship from these young teams. These guys have ALL the money to run away from the regulars in Busch week after week. This is why I do not watch Nascar anymore. Boring

No, it would be cool to see him get it but like someone else said, he is too far back at this point.

Congrats Carl...you da man.. I think eventually he could win a cup championship..he is alittle to far back this yr.. But yes, he could win a Cup Championship..He has age on his side, and he has the talent, get the team spirit and no more team mate spats.. Yep, he can do it..

Im happy he won but i dont think he can win the cup championship hes just too far back in point and considering how many races there are left. I met him last month in Charlotte he was so nice, and my little brother got a tire from his car that he signed for him....so i would be happy if he won but i guess we just gotta settle for Jimmie or Jeff this year again.
