Advanced aernautics testing facility....from the Blackbird spy plane in the 60s the stealth fighters/bombers in the 80-90s. Current vehicles include unmanned reconnaisance and other advanced aircraft....sorry, no ETs.

Several defense contractors operate the facility under the direction of the Air Force.

It is an Airforce Base in Nevada where the government conducts classified aircraft research and tests prototype aircraft. Though exactly what they do is now knows, the work done there in modern times is classified, it is rumored that they performed experiments on extraterrestrial aircraft and possible beings, particularly from a crash in Roswell, New Mexico. Although none of this has been confirmed (In fact it information pertaining to the development of the stealth bomber at Area 51 was recently declassified) many conspiracy theorists and paranormal researchers try to find evidence to prove their claims. In my opinion, it is a airforce base where the government developed new weapons, hence the super-tight security.

Whatever, it's not secret. It's published in official court documents & on the freakin map for God's sake. It's a little tiny part of a great big test range in the Nv desert. There is a small auxiliary airfield three with some test labs & such. Classified planes still under development would be operated out of there to see how they perform & look on radar, stuff like that.

Oh, God, did this question bring the bats out of the belfry!
Area 51 (AKA Groom Lake) is a restricted airfield within the Nellis AFB (NV) test range where the government has tested classified aircraft over the years - the F117 and others. No aliens, just lots of desert.

Area 51 is the place in the Nevada Desert where US military scientists took a spacecraft that supposedly crashed in Roswell, NM. It is where secret (terrestrial) military research is practiced. The gov't declassified its existence in 1997.

Don't ask this question. You're going to get a lot of conspiracy theories. THEY ARE NOT TRUE!

It was an area where the military tested prototype aircraft for potential use in war. It just happens that something crashed near the area and someone made up a story that it was an "alien."

The military, naturally, cleaned up the mess. Now, people think that they are covering up a "visit from outer space."

It's just food for thought, but not true. Don't worry.

Good day.
