That first job in your field in always the hardest to get. Yes- most places want/need experienced workers. There will be some place that will be willing to hire you. You may have to work off hours, get paid less, and relocate etc... After you get some experience you should be able to land a job that suits you better.

Degrees from a university are a good indication that someone CAN LEARN. CAN TAKE ON INFORMATION.

But university does not provide real world experience.

For example I took on a person who had a university degree but no experience. It was a trainee job, so no problems with not having experience. However, it was an IT job and he had an IT degree.

However, the course he did taught him nothing about Microsoft XP or Networks or stuff like that.

It taught him about product life cycles, user interface design, programming language not used in the modern world, but at least I knew he could learn what I was about to teach him and would not be out of his depth.

Sorry but degrees are not the 'everything' to getting a job. Experience, trial and error is equally important.
