My sister got me this stuff, pretty sure this was the same thing I used, and the stretch marks are nearly completely gone, but I'm still losing baby weight so the verdict is still out (as your body changes, the stretch marks appear at every adjustment).

I've heard a lot of good things about this stuff, but it is pricey, over $100 (although I think this site might have a special trial offer price): http://www.stripeptin.com/google/SM_index.php
This stuff sounded compelling, might want to check this one out, too: http://www.stretchmarkcure.com/the%20remedy.htm
Of course, hindsight is 20/20, and you're supposed to coat your body (especially your belly and legs) in cocoa butter from month 1 - 9, so keep that in mind if you have more kids. I used the stuff my sister got me throughout my pregnancy and after. I'm 37 and my skin looks better than my co-workers who are 24, 26, and 28. One of them has never even had kids. Not that they look bad, mind you (in case they see this!).
Post something after you find something successful so we can all benefit! That's all I ask! Thanks.

Stretch marks besides the cosmetic aspect are totally harmless. They do not limit normal body functions. Removal of stretch marks is the most effective when they are just formed, i.e. when they are reddish in color. Dermatologists recommend various treatments for the marks, but their removal is very difficult once the marks fade. Although, one can use Olive oils, Coconut butter or Vitamin E or Vitamin A for massaging over the marks. Aloe Vera Gel soothes irritating skin which has been recently stretched. For an effective prevention of stretch marks, exercising is the best bet, as it keeps the muscles and skin firm. Also eating foods, which are rich in proteins, Vitamin C and E help in promoting and maintaining healthy skin.

They dont go away completely. They will fade in time, creams and ointments will help the skin and maybe speed up 'healing'. Your skin has stretched out beyond its capacity - like busted out elastic in underwear---it doesn't really go back and its like the skin broke in stripes to strecth with a growing body because of weight gain, pregnancy, growing taller or bigger boobs. If your skin is dark, it might take even longer.
My neice got some on her tummy because she gained weight-they were red and purple looking, now they are lighter a couple years later. They will look shiney after a while, then kind of blend in with your skin. Good luck!

oooh thats really tough
try shea butter or cocoa butter
or a lotion with either or both in it
these can sooth the skin and make the stretch marks go away after a while, but it will not happen fast so treat the marks every day and they MAY eventually go away
hope i helped

There is no way other than plastic surgery to get rid of stretch marks. Using Vitamin E oil daily will reduce the color to match your natural skin tone.

Vitamin E will help a bit.
I bought the liquid gel cap pills of it and broke them open and rubbed it on every day.
I have stretch marks on my chest and I used that to calm the scars down a bit. They're no where near as visible as they used to be.

nothing will actually get rid of stretch marks (other than surgery). creams will only fade them. search in yahoo answers for stretch marks and read other answers as i've heard quite a few treatments but they are quite complicated. anyway good luck :)
