Depends on how much they weigh, how much they drank, and how tolerant they are of alcohol...the range varies from place to place within that, but its about a day to fully recover i'd guess.

I am 120 lbs and quite thin, so to be very drunk on vodka at that weight is not only dangerous; it can kill you, dear person. If the person is much shorter, has some body fat, that's a bit different. Regardless, it will take several days to metabolize that much alcohol, which ended up as a bit of poison in every cell of the body. I recommend a bloody mary cocktail in the mornings to help deal with the hangover and withdrawals.

If this is a common practice and the person quits, allow up to six weeks for all alcohol to leave the body and its precious systems.

And remember the worst-case scenarios: choking to death on your own vomit or plain old respiratory failure + the shock it will bring to family and friends.

It's one think to have cocktails; but if the person is chugging down the booze, that is called "dosing," and it's not a good thing -- it will catch up to you. A Japanese proverb goes like this:

A man takes a drink.
The drink takes a drink.
The drink takes the man.

on average, it takes about an hour to metabolize each ounce of alchohol... so it depends on how much was consumed.
