I hear when a person asks Jesus to come into their heart, they experience something called being "Born Again". They become a "New Creation". What does that mean, and has it ever happened to you?

Yes.
It happened to me 37 years ago, at a time I never expected it and didn't even know such a thing existed.
I became a totally changed person, from the inside out through the power of the Holy Spirit and
I came into God's grace and mercy, and He has shown me great compassion and abundant forgiveness. I know that I have received the gift of eternal Life, according to the Bible.

Yes, 30 years ago. It is the greatest experience, nothing on this earth can compare to this. There is so much joy and peace that comes along with this. You know that you are going to heaven, (I did not before that) and that your sins are forgiven. It is like getting a nice warm shower. You see life in a different way. God puts a love in your heart for others that is beautiful. Colors become brighter and you notice the little things. Life feels worth living (it did not for me before). You finally have someone you can fully depend on that is really on your side all the time. You know that there is a person that understands everything about you and accepts you just the way you are. You can finally be yourself. You are now walking in the spiritual realm. You can see angles, Jesus, if this is what you want. You can pray for people and they will be healed. You become the person that you were created to be. Being with Jesus is so much fun.

JC, I am glad you asked that question of me. YES, I am born again. When a person becomes born again they are washed free of all their sins. I felt this warm "rush" of love come over me that lasted for about 3 minutes. I will never forget that feeling and I accepted Christ at a stop light, LOL. This is a true story. To become a "new creation" actually means free from sin. Christ died on the cross for ALL of our sins, mine and yours. Actually HE died for all of humanitys sins, can you imagine the pain HE suffered? I cannot comprehend that, even though I try, I just cannot. I hope this has helped, Blessings

Being "born again" is a churchy-sounding word for a very simple process. It means to acknowledge that you have sinned and accept Jesus as your Savior. It's called being "born again" because when you accept Jesus, you are living for Him instead of yourself. Salvation (or being born again) comes only when we accept Jesus for ourselves- it is the result of a decision, not being baptized, doing good works, or going to church.

As for the second part of your question, yes, I am born again.

Yes it is bascily being saved, when you realize your a sinner.
Believe in God, of course, believe in Jesus and that He paid for our sins on the cross at calvary. Than 3 days later rose from the dead, and walked the earth for 40 days before returning to heaven (pretty sure it was 40). Now if you believe all this pray to God for forgiveness, get down on your knees. Ask Jesus to come into your heart, be filled with the Holy Spirit.

on an identical time as their definition of born-back is diverse than yours, i've got met many which could be seen born back via your definition and all are seen born back via the definition of baptism. i've got heard until now on the radio that if I enhance my hand close to the audio device and state that I settle for Jesus i'm born back - no offense yet i do no longer likely like or get that theory. i'm a Mormon, i could evaluate myself born back in 2 senses, one is while i opt for to be baptized close to my 8th birthday, the different became while my faith and theory became shown into my heart changing my outlook and targets in existence from that of an off-the-cuff Mormon to a devoted one. I actual have and in many cases undergo witness of my Savior; i'm born back, I in simple terms have not completed so interior the surprising way which you have. regrettably many sense that the label is something different than what this is; extremely interior the Catholic church as once you're saying "born back" they're maximum in all possibility to affiliate it with a team that stems off of a team that became created protesting the Catholic church. the subject is the colloquial definition of being born back as against the biblical definition. maximum Catholics, Mormons, JWs, and different Christians are "born back" via the biblical definition (all are if it ability baptism) yet to the quantity that the word has now substitute right into a non secular designation all human beings is guarded in how they use it.

Yes. I became born again at 16 when I asked Jesus into my heart. I have had a close, personal relationship with Him for the past 49 years!

God bless!

it means being baptized and receiving the Holy Spirit that God gives those that ask Him. The reason people say being born again means becoming a new creation is because once you receive the Holy Spirit, you put away the old way of life and put on a new way of life...and yes, im born again

I grew up in a christian home but did not personally accept Jesus untill i was like 12 i think. All this means is that all your past has been forgiven, erased, and you start over again with a clean slate in Christ.

obvisouly it didnt mean as much to me given that at the age of 12 i hadnt really been that "sinful", but to a person who is older and they have a chance to start, it can be a moving experience.
