Tell them when you intend to pay them. You should have called them so they didn't need to call you.

Try to work out a payment plan with them. And even if you pay them only 5 dollars a month, at least you show them you are willing to pay.

Firstly, I'll think about the minimum possible duration to pay the money back to creditors.
Then I'll negotiate with them the date to pay the debts.

you can send them a letter certified mail requesting they only contact you by mail and cease all calls. They can only call you once to let you know they've recieved the letter and never again.

Try to explain to them why you can't pay them right away. Work out a plan to pay them .
