I'm not sure. I think she lived a long life, but that's only what I'm assuming. I know we Catholics teach that her earthly body ascended into Heaven with her soul, if that helps at all?

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. :(

After crucifixion, Mary the Mother of Jesus went to live with John the disciple. As Jesus had told John at the cross to behold his mother and Mary behold John.
John took care of Mary.

The Bible did not mention when Mary died, but am sure she lived a long life.

As Jesus lay dying on the Cross, he asked John, the beloved disciple to look after Mary, as though She were John's mother - " John, behold thy Mother". Mary is mentioned as being with the disciples at Pentecost, though other than that we know little. Because it is thought that Mary was conceived without original sin, tradition has been that She would not die, however, Catholics are taught that "when her time on earth was over, She was assumed body and soul into Heaven."

At first, there were no other believing children , so she went to live with the apostle John and went to live in Ephesis with him where he was bishop. Later Jesus would appear to his half brother James, not the apostle who died in Acts , but the one who wrote the book of James who would become the leader of the church at Jerusalem

she also helped Luke write the book of Luke, parts of it are practically the affidavits of Mary according to Luke Notice how many times in the beginning describing Jesus birth Luke says :Mary treasure all these things in her heart:

It would have been great to go to their house. Mary could tell the whole story of his birth and John could tell his ministry. There needs to be a book called the House of Mary and John about it.... could be interesting.

I do not believe Mary had an assumption to heaven. I think Mary was a sinner saved by grace and she died and her spirit taken to heaven.

She was taken care of by John immediately after Jesus' death (apparently his brothers did not yet believe in him yet, so he needed someone who would take care of her spiritual needs)

At Pentecost, she was among those who received the holy spirit. (Acts 1:13, 14).

There is no mention of how long she lived or how she died.

2 Timothy 2:11, 12- "Faithful is the saying: certainly if we died together, we shall also live together; if we go on enduring, we shall also rule together as kings; if we deny, he also will deny us.”
If Mary proved faithful to death, she now rules in heaven along with the others of the 144,000 who reign with Christ.(Revelation 14:1, 3)

EDIT: Contrary to what other are saying, Mary did have other children (Matthew 1:25; 13:55, 56; Mark 6:3)

Also, Mary was not conceived without sin-
Romans 3:23- For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

She had two imperfect parents like the rest of us- how could she be conceived sinless?

The synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark and Luke) and Acts of the Apostles do not say what would happen to Mary after the death of Jesus. They do not even say whether Joseph was still alive.

John's Gospel has Jesus, while on the cross, tell "the disciple whom Jesus loved" to look after his mother. This is disputable, not only because the synoptic authors did not mention this statement, but because (if Joseph was dead) it would have fallen to James, Jose and their sisters to look after Mary. It is possible that the author of John's Gospel was trying to promote the image of the unnamed disciple, whom some later saw as being John himself.
Since the last mention of Joseph is when Jesus was 12 and he was not mentioned again it is taken to mean he died before Jesus began His ministry.

Jesus, while on the cross, told John ( "the disciple whom Jesus loved") to look after his mother. Jesus was looking after her because He was the eldest son. He would not have been doing this if Joseph was still alive, so Joseph must have died.
After Jesus died the care of Mary would normally have fallen to James, Jose and their sisters. However, they did not then believe that Jesus was the Messiah so Jesus put Mary in the care of his friend John. John wrote his 2nd Epistle to her:-

2 John 1
1 The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth; ...4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children [that is, James, Jose and their sisters] walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
5 And now I beseech thee, lady, ....
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:...
12 Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face,... 13 The children of thy elect sister greet thee. Amen.

John then took her with him to Ephesus where she died.

The only thing we know for sure according to the Biblical record is that she was in the upper room with the disciples on the day of Pentecost and was baptized in the Holy Spirit and Fire, speaking and praising God in tongues. (Acts chapters 1-2)

According to the tradition of the Assumption or Dormition of Mary:

She died from natural causes probably around the age of sixty, since it is believed that Luke, having never witnessed to Christ probably due to age, got some of His gospel particularly surrounding the birth of Christ from her.

Then after dying her body was miraculously taken up to heaven after three days.

Some Catholics believed she never died but was taken straight up to heaven because they think she is immaculate, without sin, which of course is shown to be wrong when reading the Scriptures, particularly this one:

Luke 1
46And Mary said:
"My soul glorifies the Lord
47and my spirit rejoices in God my SAVIOR

Since she had no other children she was given to the care of St. John. Jesus must have known that St. John would be the only one of His disciples not to be martyred.

In Christ

Nothing much written in the Word about it. Just as there is no account of Christ from about 12 yrs. until he was in His 30s.
