By giving me permission to do stupid things, is my boyfriend just giving himself room to screw up?

My boyfriend told me that I can flirt with anyone I want, and do drugs, and that I can make out with girls (even my ex-girlfriend, who I had a super serious relationship with and YES, I am a girl).

By saying that, is he just giving HIMSELF room to do s**t like that?

Like "oh well if I say she can do that, then she can't get mad at me for doing it" .

Or does he just really not care about our relationship at all?

Or could it just not matter?

Of course he is. That and he is wanting to do you and your ex gf at the same time.
