We are wasting billions of dollars and many soldiers a month.
I don't agree with this policy. We can use our people and our money better than in this war.

Wow. This a great improvement that you would absolutely ruin, by withdrawing our troops now, and allowing sectarian violence to once again increase and grant a victory to Al Quaeda.
I think it is more reasonable to stay there and keep "draining" American lives and resources, because I think the safety of each Iraqi and the chance of a democratic future there is something worth American lives.

We can not leave Iraq until Iraqi forces can handle their own security details. To leave now would be a grievous error. It would put a damper on all we have accomplished and it would make us look weak. The United States can not let those of weak mind dictate the decision making process. If we leave now there will be more attacks here at home. We must continue the war on terror and be successful in all theaters in which we are engaged.

Because then we will lose. We cna claim victory, but it will not be a victory, for we got NOTHING out of this war. Assuming that al Qaida is just about gone (a false statement) we have still invested far too much in Iraq to pull out now.

From the time our troops went into Iraq to today less than 3900 are dead. They are our honored dead. They have died for peace and freedom and have earned their place among the nations heroes. Considering the millions it cost us in previous wars to achieve the same thing, I can live with these numbers.
During the same time over 200,000 people in the USA died as the direct result of cigarettes. And for no good reason.
Are you okay with THAT?

Losing good peoples lives is not something rational people like.
Having the enemy on home soil is something most people dont like either.
Thank god we didnt send the boys home during WWII instead of fighting.
Sometimes we have to fight to have freedom. I know some can't understand that to have freedom in our country that we have to fight for it. Sometimes even fight for it in other countries.
Maybe would could use a little more of the technology we have while fighting this war.

It was two airmen. The other Air Force death was a civilian investigator. Between 1993 and 2001, there were 7,500 service members who died on active duty. Between 1980 and 1984, there were 9,555 service members who died on active duty. I can't remember anyone being concerned with that death rate.

They died protecting your right to ask this question. We told Iraq we would help them build a secure government and we have made so much positive change. we will be done soon over there. Please understand that we promised them that after we took sadam husein out of power we promised the Iraqi people we would help them. so are you the type of person to make a new friend, tell them you will help them... and then walk away when they need you the most?

It is NOT ok with me that people like you dont blame radical Islamist terrorists for the merciless massacre of tens of thousands of innocent people in the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia/Pacific and here at home rather than continually whine about the US being so bad.
