You should confront him only if you wish to strike up a conversation. To each his own.

No No No! DO NOT CONFRONT ANYONE IN SUCH SITUATION! My boyfriend is a police officer and he just helped on two seperate cases of child porn that originated JUST LIKE THAT SITUATION (Guy on Library computer)! You should notify the staff there; if he's just looking at normal porn then he'll probably just get banned (as he very well should; that is something he can reserve to do in privacy and without the use and facilitation of public equipment... among other reasons!) If the staff can determine that it was more than just porn (as in illegal child porn, or other predatory activities) then law enforcement can get involved and try to take the knucklehead (being nice here!) down! You never know how people will react when confronted; you don't know his history or what he may be capable of doing... ESPECIALLY IF HE'S DOING SOMETHING ILLEGAL. Be wise and take the safe approach! Let us know what happens!

I'm not sure how that can't be against your college's rules, if it's in a library, and it's in plain sight, go to the librarian, and let him/her know.

I can't believe he isn't breaking the libraries rules. Tell the librarian as its their job to monitor this.

If he is not breaking a rule, you should complain to the college if you don't want him to do it. Should you confront him? For what, not breaking the rules?

Why ? Won't he share ?
I suspect that a college library is a better spot than a public library, but still ....

Mind your business, who made you a cop. It's not like the college is paying you to do their job.

If he isn't breaking any rules, it's none of your business; stop looking at his monitor.

Sure - why not?
Go over there and say loudly:
"You know, all those chicks are airbrushed. Nobody looks that good naked."
See what happens
