This is an excellent question, I will answer as briefly and accurately as possible.

All the Bible is written FOR us
Only some of it is written TO us

Example...

The Old Testament was written TO the Jews, its there FOR us to learn from but we (Gentiles) were not the ones God was speaking to at THAT time.

In the Gospels - This was also TO the Jews, Jesus was there preparing them for the coming earthly Kingdom. Jesus actually told the Apostles not to go to the Gentiles. His message at that time was to the Jews and the Jews alone.
If they had accepted Christ as their Messiah the Jews would have gone to evangelize the Gentile nations.

The Jews did not want Christ as their Messiah, they rejected Him , ( Acts 7 ) so God went to Saul of Tarsus with a new message to the Gentiles for the sole reason of making the Jews jealous ( Acts 8 )

Acts from then on was a transitional book, Going from Gods plan to the Jews to His plan for the Gentiles

Romans thru Philemon are the books that were written TO us
These books tell us how to be saved and how to live to please God NOW.

Hebrews thru Revelaton are the books that cover the tribulation to the new heaven and new earth, as you read these books you can see they say basically the sane thing as the Gospels as far as how to live etc...

The to and for thing is not too confusing to understand heres an example...

If you find a letter your father wrote to your mother, you can learn much of what he wanted and thought, but its not written to you.

If he wrote it To you the thoughts and desires therein would be directed at you from him

If you read the Bible and take what was written To someone else and apply it to yourself its causes much confusion.

This is where most of the bad doctrine and church confusion comes from today.

Sorry for the length of this post but you can't properly cut this short

If you have any more questions, drop me an Email, I will be more than happy to help all I can.

Non-Jews were never under the law to begin with, so can't have been freed from something they were never bound by in the first place. Except for the 7 Noahide (Universal) Laws that everyone is under, and are STILL under and bound by: 1. Do not murder 2. Do not steal 3. Do not curse God 4. Do not commit adultery 5. Do not commit idolatry (do not make God a man and then worship that man, do not commit human sacrifice for sin, do not put a man/god in front of God to have to go through to get to God, all of this is idolatry) 6. Do not tear the limb from a live animal to eat (apparently this was done - this law prohibits cruelty to animals) 7. Do establish courts of law to uphold a fair and just society Jesus didn't free anyone from these laws. If you think you are free from these laws, then run around breaking them and see how far your "grace" will get you. And the rest of the laws in the Torah (old testament) never applied to non-Jews in the first place. Also, Jews don't follow the law to get into heaven or to save their souls from eternal damnation. This is a lie by the Christian church. Judaism doesn't even have such concepts. God has always given his grace to mankind (according to Judaism, which doesn't have the concept of Orginal Sin) without requiring an eternal burning hell, or a virgin human blood sacrifice for sin named Jesus. There has never been an absence of Grace. Only the Church invented the idea that there is, and this is a lie meant to control people through fear and deception. So, the answer to your question is: It's all nonsense.

2 Timothy 2:15
Be diligent to present youself approved to God, an unashamed workman, cutting straight the word of the truth.

As in carpentry. It means to unfold the word of God in its various parts rightly and strightly without distortion.

The heritage of faith entrusted to the whole of the Church

CCC 84 - The apostles entrusted the "Sacred deposit" of the faith (the depositum fidei), contained in Sacred Scripture and Tradition, to the whole of the [Catholic] Church. "By adhering to [this heritage] the entire holy people, united to its pastors, remains always faithful to the teaching of the apostles, to the brotherhood, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. So, in maintaining, practicing, and professing the faith that has been handed on, there should be a remarkable harmony between the bishops and the faithful."

The Magisterium of the Church

CCC 85 - "The task of giving an authentic interpretation of the Word of God, whether in its written form or in the form of Tradition, has been entrusted to the living, teaching office of the Church alone. Its authority in this matter is exercised in the name of Jesus Christ." This means that the task of interpretation has been entrusted to the bishops in communion with the successor of Peter, the Bishop of Rome.

CCC 86 - "Yet this Magisterium is not superior to the Word of God, but is its servant. It teaches only what has been handed on to it. At the divine command and with the help of the Holy Spirit, it listens to this devotedly, guards it with dedication, and expounds it faithfully. All that it proposes for belief as being divinely revealed is drawn from this single deposit of faith."

CCC 87 - Mindful of Christ's words to his apostles: "He who hears you, hears me," the faithful receive with docility the teachings and directives that their pastors give them in different forms.
