Yesterday's situation: having a texting conversation with like 5 friends, then my dad just took away my phone.....FRIDAY NIGHT!....
Today afternoon: Got my phone back, with 17 new messages!

did you ask yourself why he took it away? what did you do?
maybe he called you into the other room and you were too busy to answer him so he took it. I've taken my daughter's phone and made her understand why not just because i wanted too, there has to be a reason. ASK it.

You won't die for lack of a phone.People went for many centuries before inventing telephones. Talk to people,this will help build up your communication skills. Write reminder notes to remember things. Keep an engagement diary even if it is just a temporary one such as a school notebook. Your handwriting and spelling will improve too.You may find that by taking your phone away your parents have done you a big favour. Also,keep wearing your glasses. If you wish, you ill be able to get contact lenses instead when you are earning your own money.

What's up with texting these days .... i am 22 and i hate texting because it is just plain wast of time ....call your friends and talk to them on the phone ...what's the big deal ?

that happens to me.
my parents take away my fone when i get back from school or at least until my dad gets home around 4pm.
it's pretty much my fault coz my minutes go so high.
i try to sneak in their room sometimes and go and call my bf. lol :P

that always happens to me
ill say something and my dad will be like give me your phone
and then ill argue and he will be like 2 WEEKS!
then the next day he will give me a lecture and then give me my phone back!

wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...be lucky your parents gave it back...anyone still in school does not need one unelss they are in need of the police, fireman, or are hurt
