This is really disgusting. After who knows how many filthy fingers dipped in it, the remaining sludge is poured from that vile little bowl back in the bottle.

No, it is not bad, because you say you drunk it accidentally. God will no doubt forgive you for something that you were not even aware that you did. It's like when you are five and tell your sibling that you didn't eat their cookie when you really did, but you didn't know that you just lied and lying is wrong. Same principle.

I am Catholic, and since you did not drink it in an intentional sign of disrespect, I am not offended, and I doubt if any "official" pronouncement of the church would say that you have committed a sin.

i looked on the internet and it said that if you drink holy water you"shall be punished in anger for drinking and wasting such a precious gift."
