Ok, about 6 months ago, i weighed myself and to my surprise i was 17stone. I instantly started a diet. and to my confusion i was not hungry what so ever i was eating not much at all and i was loosing weight quite qucikly every one was amazed as to how i just suddenly started my diet. i got down to 13stone which i was really pleased about. but then my diet went astray. and i have not got back to 14stone. i need to diet but im am finding it very hard. i am now vegartarian and find it hard because every thing i eat is basically a carb and most foods contain cheese is there any advice any one can give me.

i would apreciate it a ton cause i dont wanna get back to how i was.

i will also explain after eating no matter how much i eat i am hungry like 1-2 hours after eating.

Like you said Carbs , they don't fill you up very well. Like chinese food, it's mostly carb's

A chef once told me there is no such thing as "bad" food. Its all in the preparation. Clearly that guy never went to the bacon counter in Sainsburys.

Anyway. You need slow release high nutrition foods like seeds, pulses and nuts (not too many nuts.) Avoid cheese as much as possible as its basically just nice tasting fat. Start experimenting with basmati rice and cous cous. Get a good Indian cookbook. They're full of great vegetarian recipes.

Avoid all processed vegetarian foods. They are pretty much all fat and salt heavy.

Oh, and go for a walk four to five times a week for about half an hour.

I am sorry but there aint anything people can say to help you. I know how you feel. I weight myself and it was 14stones. I then dieted and weighted myself shortly after and was 13.1stones. Then I started getting comfy and starting straying. I think the best thing to do is to work very very very hard to block out hunger. I listen to music. It helped alot. Then set yourself a target. A amount to lose by a certain time. Me I have to get down to 12stones by January. I am now 13.3. It aint much. Anyway good luck. What is best to do is to stop weighing yourself often. Weigh yourself every week or month, dont do it veryday lik I used to. Good luck. I hope you do yourself proud

Get a book on the subject of G I (Glycemic Index), that will tell you what foods to avoid to stop the eating/hungry thing..
