Getting less free all the time I think. Then again, they have lots of political prisoners in China (which has 4x the population BTW). Also, China kills thousands of convicted people a year. Did you know they have vans for mobile lethal injection?

The USA is a very free country. The reason why there are only 1.5 million? in China's prisons is 2/3
of the prisoners are dead!!

I assume that some of the difference is attributable to the high execution rate in China (some years, over half of all executions worldwide are in China). The U.S. is freer than China in many ways, including that we incarcerate persons who China would execute.
