it would be discriminatory to them as they may not be human like?

Or maybe we could refer to extraterrestrial aliens as something different altogether..

By definiton, alien is not only an ET. Petition or not, you cannot put a gag order on freedom of speech. I don't like being called a gringa, but nothing I can do about it.

criminalizing the guy, nicely of direction it does, the guy is a criminal under the regulation. this is a misdemeanor crime which incorporates a sentence of 6 months in detention center and a great of $250.00. So i assume each and every misdemeanor that individuals are serving time in detention center for are not crimes the two. Hypocritical. Now they're attempting to alter the dictionary and the which ability of unlawful alien. i understand the place they'd placed their computer nonsense.

Well maybe the illegal alien term is a little easy.

A couple of months ago, there was a post that said we should start referring to them as Criminal Invaders.....Priceless!!

It sounds more like the truth, Doesn't it?

Where is this petition?

I know at my job, we call them undocumented migrants....what a joke!

Alien meant foreigner long before it meant extraterrestrial. Only those to whom English is not a first language don't know this. Why should we change our language because of what people who don't speak it well incorrectly think it means?

Sure. We can stop calling them aliens and starting calling them what they really are. Here are a few as an example, feel free to add your own.....

Criminal, felon, deceitful, dishonorable, infiltrator, invader, squatter, thief, trespasser, uninvited guest, unwanted visitor

I have not heard of that petition, but, I like the idea of correct terminology, lets get a petition to place an appropriate label upon the people who commit the act of "CRIMINAL TRESPASS", I believe they should be correctly identified, CRIMINAL TRESPASSERS. That title seems very politically and legally correct.

Do some homework, look in a dictionary.

Alien is a legal term which proliferates the law books.

I cannot help it if they do not know English.

Seems silly. When the word alien was coined it had nothing to do with ET.

Never heard of this and I doubt it would fly! What should we call them?

Harry Reid called them "undocumented Americans" -- what an @ss! They aren't immigrants since that implies that they have moved here permanently but they have no to right to be here!

I will always call them "illegal alien criminals" since that is what they are! They are criminals because they are breaking our laws!!!

People that are breaking our laws should not have the right to define what the legal term is applied to them
