One 6 lb. With four it is impossible to have more meat because of the weight of the shell in included.

you get more use able meat from the smaller lobsters mostly because of the way the meat is distributed. the more tails and claws the more meat. the bigger lobster tends to carry a lot of weight in its body as fat, shell and the liver. it wil tend to be a small difference maybe 1 or 2 oz.
