i would propose to a MAN by setting up a romantic date for the evening but during the day have a bunch of small thoughtful things around the house which lead to the dinner. Things like little notes telling him how wonderful he is , and things ike that the i would pop over our romantic dinner. If you cook his favorite meal, set up some nice candle and have the ring box on the side of his plate , maybe near his drink so he wont notice it at first but then it will surprise him when he goes to grab his cup. Make this an intimate and private moment. Most men can't imagine being proposed to in the first place and he wont feel that sense of embarrassment if it is just a romantic moment between you too. and if he says no my first and only question would be ...Why?? Depending on his response we will move on or he can kick rocks !! . Goodluck.

I was going to propose to my husband by giving him a pocket watch I had inscribed with "Marry Me" at Xmas. I chickened out for just the reason you listed. If he said "no", I knew my pride would make me leave him. In my case, it has a happy ending because he eventually proposed to me. He told me later he didn't know what he was going to do if I said no. I guess no matter how much you love each other, there is still that scary thought that the other person may say "no". The only thing worse than that is not knowing, so I say definitely ask!

get down on one knee, with a ring - just like you'd want to be proposed to. If he says no find out if he is uniterested in marriage now or ever. Then let it go and enjoy the way things are.

I would propose a boy by saying " hey, how about a boy?" or maybe " How would you like a boy?"...Although I must confess I can not imagine a scenario where I would have to propose a boy.

If he doesn't have thr grundles to do it himself then you need to cut bait on that guy. Next think you know he's gonna be asking you to check the closet for the buggy man.

you wouldn't-
for as long as women are the ones carrying and delivering the babies- i would think the men should be the ones proposing.

I wouldn't propose to a boy. If he doesn't do it, then you don't want him!
