If you research the origins of Islam it all started with the Moon God, hence the crescent moon above many mosques. The following is a quote from an Islamic website supposedly proving 'evidence' of knowledge of Allah before Mohammed. 'In pre-Islamic Arabia, Allah was the Moon god, and was married to the Sun goddess. Together, they had three daughters, Al-Lat, Al-Uzza, and Manat. In proof that there was knowledge of Allah and his daughters before Muhammad came along is this passage:

"Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons? - Or that We created the angels female, and they are witnesses (thereto)?" Sura 37:149f'

Seems the least likely and most superstitious origin for a religion.

To majeed32 - maybe people dislike Islam because of the murder of innocent people commited recently in New York and London in the name of Islam. Personally I have read the three translations of the Qu'ran, and done much other research and I am opposed to Islam and any agenda for globalisation.

Islam takes from both Judaism and Christianity, says that both were true in their time, but now the Quran is the final revelation, that the previous two are corrupted, and that the Quran is the final, perfect revelation.

Islam takes very little from the Talmud, if any at all, which is why it has such a poor understanding of what Judaism teaches and of what the written Torah says and means, since these meanings are kept in the Talmud and explained there.

God created Islam and no human is capable to creating a perfect religion.

You won't believe what I just wrote above because you don't know about Islam completely. Most people in west believe the lies evil and fanatic Christians spread about Islam.

When they get to know good Muslims and learn about their religion Islam, they soon realize that they were in dark all their lives and become highly devoted Muslims even better than born Muslims.

I wonder why most of them do not use their intelligence when it comes to Islam. Isn't it stupid to call a religion bad because they find some Muslims doing wrong things.

Muslim don't accuse Jesus or religion Christianity for wrong doings of some Christians. Musl.ims respect and honor Jesus more than Christians themselves do. Because they know truth about Jesus better than Christians do.

Yes!

Well spotted.

Mohammed knew that Christianity was too soft and fuzzy to unite a bunch of violent and vicious warring desert tribes so he put his own spin on the old testament, demoted Jesus to prophet and added his own highly militaristic style.

It incorporated the local superstitions of djinn (yes, genies) like other religions incorporate local mythology. Satyrs becoming satan, for example.

When you look at religion its all so transparently made-up isn't it? Makes you wonder why so many human beings believe in it so whole-heartedly.
