Though meny of you have helped me with my questions, Some only make matters worse, take into account my questions about the Wiccan and Pegan religons, Why is it that some people on here have the nurve to say " spells and chants are fake, that I should belive in god" with all do respect I understand your belifes, I used to be a christain, but god never answerd me, so I have lost faith in him, However this is not about me it is about the certain people on here that preach to you about their riligon, why even answer a question invloving spells and chants, if you do not belive in them or the particular religon? I am sure that I am not the only one getting answers like this. I think it is highly disrespectful to those people and there riligons, who are you to tell them that god will send you to hell for these belifes, you are not god so do not juge other religons and do not comment on the riligon unless you yourself have experince in the particular religon.

Thank you for your time

Being an Atheist, I can't guarantee that I haven't provided any answers along the vein of "There is no God," or that I believe spells to be fake. But I can offer you this:

On a public forum--or at least a revenue such as this where the open public is free to respond to whatever question--differing opinions are going to present themselves. We're discussing religion--and quite a few people feel very powerfully about it.

My advice (and please understand I mean you no disrespect whatsoever) is to read them all at face value. If someone says something that makes sense--even if it falls against what you want to know--it may be worth researching for yourself. You're the ultimate judge as to what feels right to you.

On the same side of the same coin, whenever you receive an answer that intrigues you, most of us have email contact available on our profiles, and wouldn't mind further elaborating with you and perhaps pointing you into some good directions to further your studies.

In all sincerity, good luck to you in finding what you're looking for.

I always say the same thing to Wiccans (now the OK word for witches) - that spells are part of magic which is the attempt to manipulate nature &/or people. They work and I have seen them work (believe it or not some of them doing this are Freemasons) . But, the bit that witches don't like to hear, is that they work through demonic powers.

i'm sorry that people have gone off on you and have confused you through there some what ignorant comments like the ones i read below. i am majoring in history and philosophy and plan on getting my phd in divinity/theology

its not very christian, jewish, islam, buddhist, hindu, jangist, zorastorian like to tell some one off and shove religion down their thoat. i have studied all religions and follow christianity because if interpreted correctly it can't lead to evil. it speaks in the bible in the old testament to ban witches or people who access spirits from the tribe or village because they could be enveloping an evil spirit within their bodies or cast one on some one else. in the new testament it ask to change these people through jesus christ because he died for our sins and in the old testament u had rituals and sacrifices of animals, grains different things to get repentance. we now have jesus. i do not know much about wicca because it is kept secret i know the generalities of it and can see how one could beleive to worship the spirit of nature. i beleive all animal things have a spirit or way to contact god in them. we humans how ever ate of the tree of knowledge a symbolic thing in the bible and this is what seperated us from animals by knowing wrong from write and technology. before that humans were just like any other animal but we were our own species not from a lower class(lack of better term) being of animal. as far as accessing spirits its possible and i dont know why so many christians denie it but yet beleive in prayer prayer is to the trinity or depending on religion higher being. the trinityy is pure though so nothing can go wrong. but when accessing any other spirit u can pick up a demon or something bad point blank it's just to risky. hope this helps and i hope this conversation doesnt end here

Consider this:

It's all a lie and there's no God, no Easter Bunny, no magic - only what you see. Then you'll realize that the life you're living now is the only one you'll have and you better make the most out of it.

God might have not answered your prayers because it was not ment to be and were supposed to wait upon the lord. Some christians think that all we have to do is pray to God and he'll give it to us. To say that is ludicrous Thats kind of sellfish. in my opinion

i believe in God and i don't believe in spells and what not. i don't believe in messing with any kind of demon is Godly and I'm not going to open my spirit up to just anything. i believe that God heard you. you would open yourself up to anything that is not of God but you thought that you didn't hear Him and you shut Him out. i understand what your saying and i respect but open your heart to God and try ot actually listen to what He has always been telling you.
