You should go and see him. It would make him feel better. I use to hate the hospital due to being in it when I was little. They are really not that bad. I am sorry to hear about your Dad. I am sure it is because you would have memories of your Dad that is what bothers you.
Make new memories with your boyfriend. Think,,,if you were in the hospital, would you want your boyfriend to visit you? If you cannot, call him and let him know why you feel you cannot step inside the hospital. He will understand.
I wish you the best and I will pray for your courage and strength and for your boyfriends speedy recovery.

If you really love him then you should go see him. Show him that you care about him and he will love you even more for it. Put your self in his shoes, if you were in the hospital would you want your man to come see you and support you? Of course, be a good girlfriend buy him a get well card and some baloons and go see your man!

How long has he been there? How much longer will he sstay? He would understand you I bet. If he is there for a short period of time, then no worries, go see him at his house right when he goes home from the hospital. Call him, tell him that you will be waiting for him over at his place.

If your really frightened and don't think you'll be able to go to the hospital just tell him he should understand and you could maybe send him a card or flowers with a note without even having to go to the hospital. Also, you could just call him on the phone to see how he's doing.................Hope this helps,Good Luck!!!

You are the girlfriend, you should be the first person to go see him, to show him that you care, he would appreciate it and you would feel good about it too. If you don't do it, I think you'll regret it for a long time.

the best thing to do to get over a fear is to confront it. you know the reason why you are afraid to go in, but think about all the GOOD reasons why you would like to go.
1. your boyfriend is healing from his appendictomy with the aid of nurses and staff who are treating him with care
2. think of all the times when YOU yourself may need to be there... to rejoice in the arrival of a baby, perhaps?

Muster up the courage and go see your boyfriend.
He will appreciate it, and you might be able to overcome your fears at the same time.
ps. Sorry about the passing of your father.

i think you should try to concur ur fears. try to go in and who knows u may feel ok with it and that may take alot of weight of ur sholders from ur fathers death. If u feel that u cant do it simply leave ur bf should understand... regardless ask someone to bring him a note from u or maybe make him some food?
