Is it hard to install a remote starter in a 2002 Yukon Denali? Never done one, but I'd like to save money.

I have some mechanical ability, electrical is not my strong suit. I think a Denali will have more advanced security in it too.

I talked to my installer and he said it's not that bad to do.

However he has been doing this for over 10 years.

I had to hire him full time - he said if your not familiar with wiring - dont even try it.

It can be a little tricky if you have a factory alarm or anti-theft feature like Passkey but it can be done....just harder than a vehicle without it. Try a site called The12volt.com for info on doing it yourself.
