I have Nero, is that of any use? And what is FLAC format? Have I made an error downloadin it? Or will the conversion be ok? Thanks!

ry freerip...im not sure how we got it but u can rip most formats to mp3,wma ect

FLAC is a loseless audio codec sponsored by the Ogg Foundation often used in UNIX systems. It is free software and royalty free, as opposed to MP3, which is loosy, non-free and with royalties for its patent. Nero with the proper plugins will support that format (i think it does by default actually).

Try Spark Audio Converter. It's a free program that seems to be free of viruses, trojans, spyware, malware, etc.
You do have to register on the site to be able to download the programme, but I've had no problems with them contacting me or spamming me.
The good news is, the programme works.
