the sound on my digital camera doesn't work. i'm trying to make a video. can someone please help me!?

it works when i upload and put it on my computer in windows media player. but it doesn't work on my camera or for other movie editing programs.

Not all still cameras come equipped with a built in microphone needed for sound video. check you guidebook.
