So I just received my score from the rural carrier exam, I scored a 91.9 and I had no verteran status. Do I have a good chance of getting a call for an interview? Is it possible to score over 100 if you were a veteran? If any of you took the test and got hired, could you tell me what score you had? Thanks!

Just because you work for the USPS does not mean you give up your 2nd Ammendment rights. You will not be able to carry it into the government offices and building without permission. You are probably in a 'grey area' if delivering in a government vehicle. However, if you are delivering in your own car - should not be a problem. This is the kind of question you should be asking your supervisor - and - it should have been covered during your new hire orientation.

That's great! Don't worry too much about your score. As long as you pass, you'll get a chance just like me. Remember it all depends on your location and your postmaster and the big picture of who you are. Show a lot of enthusiasm honesty and trust and you'll be fine. I scored a 70. I received an interview date later 9 months after the test. If they hire you you'll need to pass a drug test and if your driving history is clean they'll schedule you for medical assessment for approval. You'll then have about 4 or 5 days of orientation and safety training. You must pass your safety training written test to go on. Good luck.
