You can give her a trip to the vet!

You would want to do this today because almost all normal vets are open on Saturdays. And you want to do this today because if there is something wrong - it's cheaper to see your normal vet when they are open than to have to deal with emergency care on Sundays. It may be nothing - it may be something. She may have something stuck in there, who knows- but your vet can find out - please at least call and dicuss her symptoms with them and what should you do and not wait around for random people that aren't vets and can't see your dog to tell you what they think may or may not be wrong with your dog.

first she really needs to see a vet.
chihuahuas can get low blood sugar so for now give her a teaspoon of honey in her water to help with that.
try giving her boiled chicken and rice as a bland diet may help.
Toy breeds such as chihuahuas can dehydrate and have serious problems I definately wouldn't wait if this has been going on all day.

Its probably phlegm. That happens to my dog all the time. She might have a peice of food stuck in her throat, or just get too overworked, like if you play rough. If it would make you (and probably her) feel better, you should take her to the vet.

You can call your vet and tell him what you are seeing, see if it's worth bringing her in, or if he has some suggestions for you. People here can only guess, and you shouldn't be medicating your dog when you don't know what's wrong.

Just take her to a vet...it's impossible for us to know for certain what is wrong with her, and how to solve it.

She might have eaten something bad outside or inside...but a vet will know for sure, hopefully

Take her to the vet, that's the best option. You cannot very well do home-treatment for something that you do not know the cause of.
