Get the thickest comforter off your bed. Get everyone in the house to take a corner. Tell her to jump and catch her in the comforter. She'll be fine. =)
Next time there's fireworks, I'd talk to the vet about about sedatives instead of Rescue Remedy - And crate her in the basement

You have a chandelier? On your wages?
Blimey, thats seriously posh.
Perhaps if you planned ahead and just had ordinary British Home Stores lampshades instead like the rest of us you wouldn't have encountered this problem. You knew Bonfire night was approaching as it so often does at this time of year, and I consider the installation of a chandelier to be very selfish and thoughtless. You should have known this might happen, don't you ever watch 999? I just can't believe people like you are allowed to own dogs!! Shame on you.
P.S. The party's in full swing, i've made some great friends and everyone gets a seat!

I have five dogs barking in the back garden as we speak! Get a duvet or something for a soft landing. Switch the chandelier lights on. Leave the room and wait for the thud! Eat the sausages - hopefully with mash. Open the red wine for the biscuits and cheese - and play loud rock music with all the windows open. The dog will come down and your neighbours will be fed up of the music.

I obviously must be lost here or something. I have never in my life heard of a dog walking up walls and across ceilings. Maybe i'm the weird one cause everyone else just seems to be answering this question like it is normal for a dog to do that. Like someone else said on here you need to video tape it and put it on youtube. Other wise i may never believe that your dog can walk up walls and across ceilings. Also if my dog could do that "shrug" then i would get him down one way or another cause he could get hurt.

WOW! Excuse me did you say she could climb up walls AND across the ceiling? What a dog, did you put something sticky on her feet? Did you video tape her? Would look great on Americans Funniest Video show or you tube. Or do you just have a great imagination.?

your dog can climb walls and walk on ceilings? You should video it and put it on youtube, that will be great to watch lol.
On a serous note..........Turn the light OFF, wait for another firework to go off and hold open your arms so the og can jump into your arms. Or your own suggestion, get the ladders.

Just turn the house upside down. This way the dog will be on the floor again.

If she can get up there she can get back down. In the mean time I would be very careful about walking underneath her. Remember she cant hold her eliminations forever.

Well, as you are evidently such a caring owner, I would suggest you go stand under her, to break her fall when the inevitable happens.
