Everyone has a family, weather the want to believe it or not. Some are bigger than others, other are more complex. Most people I know their families live all over the world. Aunts and uncles in different states; grandparents that they haven’t seen for years. Not my family, we all live in the same little corner of Indiana. The farthest relative I have lives in Hamilton and that’s only about an hour drive from Auburn (where I live) depending on how fast you drive. We don’t go to Hamilton much to see that relative, even though its my mom’s mom! You think we would her being my grandma and all. But living near by to every family member, you get into a lot of family feuds. The last time I have even herd from my grandma was the day before my sweet sixth. It was a Sunday, and I was doing the Sunday day thing and relaxing. I was in the back of the house, in a rocker watching a random TV show. My dad came in and handed me the phone . The way he gave it to me I thought it was one of my friends; sitting at home doing what I was. But nope it was the grandma that doesn’t even show up for Christmas dinners anymore! She wished me a happy birthday and tried to catch up on a year of my childhood in a half an hour. The phone call ended by both of us with tears, and wishing we saw each other more.

The response given by Kate is on target. Consider the following:

1. Concentrate on spelling and sentence structure.
2. Cut away all unnecessary words and phrases.
3. Learn correct use of punctuation.
4. Never start a sentence with the words of okay and like.
5. Never end a sentence with more than one exclamation point or question mark.

The list is endless, but follow Kate's reply.

Your first four or so sentences suck. Combine them to make it short and sweet. Try not to make the very start so full of fluff. I would even change it entirely and say something people will want to read.

"Most families live all over the world. Sometimes I wish that was the case with mine, like when Aunt Betty comes over twice a week to borrow some socks. Or when my third cousin, Bruno, wants to challenge me in another game of ping-pong."

Pretty much a narcissist. Do you think you're that important to write a book about? You should write a book, instead, on your thoughts, opinions and views of the world.
