I was 23 when I had my first child. I always said that if I didn't have the first 1 by 25 I wasn't having any. My first pregnancy was at 20 but I lost that 1.

18. But I was more "adult" than your average teenager. It is NOT recommended for those who are not dedicated to raising a child at this age though. Some can do it, some must wait until they mature. I had already had wedding plans, held down a job, and was preparing to attend college.
Since then, I have attended college and a trade school.Have been gainfully employed in the medical field, am married and went on to have 3 more children. My youngest is almost 18! So, as you can see, IT CAN BE DONE! It takes a LOT of love, patience, and family dedication though!

I was 23. Looking back, I think I was too young. It was very hard. I had my second at 34. Much more fun!
