I've heard eating garlic can make one give off an odor, seeps thru the pores, even days after having eaten it but is this by eating a certain amount, like a huge amount or is it just by eating any amount, even if it's say 1 minced garlic clove cooked and then scattered throughout the whole dish? Would that little amount cause the bad odor seeping thru the pores problem, or would I have to eat more than that on a daily basis to have the odor issue? Also are there other foods or spices besides garlic and onions that should be avoided so that I won't have a problem like that?

Well you don't really have to worry about it if you bathe daily and drink enough water. However, if you eat a lot of curry, that can also seep through your skin. So does cigarrettes. Some people exude the odors of their food with a small amount, and others do not. It is quite individual. But one thing is very unlikely, and that is that you say eating one tiny bit of garlic can last for days. 12 hrs maybe, at the most. If you eat really a LOT of it. I have never heard of onions causing it to happen at all, only bad breath. Bathe every day and drink water and you don't have to worry about stuff like that.

Garlic is one of the nicest smells there is. Smelly cheeses and Kim Chi smell a lot worse (though taste OK).

Broccoli, cabbage, asparagus, and other types of veggies can do this. Yes, you need at least a couple of helpings.
