Im not sure how to do it because my computer previously had XP home edition but im not sure whether the XP is still on the hard drive or not.

I should also mention that i have not got an XP installation disk and i have no restore disk either.

I have not got office 2007 installed and the other programs could easily be reinstalled

If you remove Vista, and you have no CD for XP, you will have nothing.

Maybe you should try to work with Vista. If you set it to classic view, it will resemble XP which I think you will find helpful. Please read these before you mess up your computer royally.

I agree with the first two, better check to see what you have for programs before you start to dump the operating system. Without the disks of these programs, you maybe in for more problems. Good Luck!

what geekout says is correct.

but before u do....what other software do u have....do you have Office2007? If so...u may run into a few problems.....
