Ephesians 6:10-19 tells us what the Armor of God is and how to use it. Read below:

Eph 6:10 Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Eph 6:13 Therefore take to yourselves the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Eph 6:14 Therefore stand, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness
Eph 6:15 and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
Eph 6:16 Above all, take the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God,
Eph 6:18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching to this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
Eph 6:19 And pray for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,
Eph 6:20 for which I am an ambassador in bonds; so that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Any true Christian will understand what this is all about and put it on daily. They will seek the Lord to understand it more if they don't. This is our defence against the attacks of the devil.

I believe christians have 'armor around the brain' that keeps you from seeing the truth. What you believe is a fantasy, and there is only this life to live!
Logic, and truth, and ethics are a good guide, along with the laws of the land! You don't need an 'armor of some made up deity'.

And excuse me ''plato''. I have had the name plato, since September of last year, so I ''believe'' I have prior usage!
Get a new nickname, please!
EDIT
Well, you've had it since Sept 4, and I'm the 19th! You had it first. I'll fix it! Sorry. Plato ,too.

I pray it on every morning. The helmet of salvation protects my thoughts, the breastplate of righteousness protects my heart and emotions. It's buckled on with the belt of truth, I pray that I'll be continually shod in the gospel of peace that wherever I walk I take it with me. I pray for the shield of faith to protect me from daily temptation and trials. God's word is a two edged sword and the more we know it and carry it in our hearts, the more effectively we can use it as a weapon against the lies of this world. It makes so much difference in my walk each day.

Yes. Mostly to fend off, or neutralise the stupidity of others.

BTW just in case it helps, Plato might be referring to Ephesians 6v10~18

What on earth is the Armour of the Lord?

Is that the 'Armour' which born-again Christian George Bush used when God 'commanded' him to murder 10s of thousands of innocent Iraqi women and children for oil?

I dare any school kid to shoot me right at my bullet proof vest... BTW, we don't use armours any more... The Bible is outdated on this issue...
