This is "Merry Tossmas," an ostensibly humorous little video reacting to catalogs that say "holiday" instead of "Christmas." He's all offended that they say "holiday" (never mind that people give gifts for Hanukkah and the Winter Solstice, too), so his "new holiday" is "Tossmas," where he tosses holiday catalogs in the trash.
Yep, the cheerful sound of "It's CHRISTmas, not just a *holiday*!" whining starts up again. Makes me long for carols. And I hate carols.
So what do y'all think?

Once again: PEOPLE GIVE GIFTS ON HANUKKAH AND THE WINTER SOLSTICE. Which also happen in December. Which he ignored and which others, apparently, would love to ignore.
As a Witch, I think I get his point, which sounds an awful lot like "Sit down, shut up, and just be happy you're permitted out in public to buy anything."

why doesn't he just call the companies and tell them to stop sending him stuff?

And i know what You mean. First it was Scrooge, and now it's just another Grinch trying to fa-la-la everyone's holiday. I toss ALL the catalogs and i resent the Chri$tmas spirit of DEBT!

I think not only the person asking the Q and the people answering the Q are not getting this dudes point... We as Americans do not buy presents for thanksgiving ...... And this country is made up mostly of Christians... And we need to stop being politically correct and call a spade a spade and start calling it the CHRISTMAS Season....

No I think he is free to throw any catalogs into the trash he likes and make a video of, afterall I throw them all in the trash whether they say "Christmas" or "Holiday"
I wear my pentagram shirt to the store and store employees tell me "Merry Christmas". And thats their right, they can wish me a Merry Christmas whether I choose to celebrate it or not.
They could wish me a happy Hanukkah, or a Kwanza it does not matter if I celebrate it they want me to be happy during that period.

I agree the guy is a butt head. (Please note his James Dobson video next in que.)
I will again point out he does not speak for all Christians.
I can apologize for him but then would any of us (including tossmas man) learn anything.

He's a whiner or wiener, whatever fits. Maybe the Christian community should just get together and figure out which day that they "think" that Jesus was "really" born on and just move Christmas there. That way they would just leave everyone else alone about it. And stop all the cry-babying about it.

It's the HOLIDAY season. There are many holidays as you point out. The guy is a jerk.
