Way ahead of you, sweetie! I just got done cleaning up the front lawn--which is no small task, because we've got cottonwood trees that love to dump leaves and limbs all over the place. After I get done typing this, I'm pruning the rose bushes. Think about how Wendy will feel when she comes home to a clean yard, and a vase full of roses waiting on a dinning room table that has a warm meal on it! I hope it brightens her day, at least!

It is my practice to "acknowledge" others. I do this by looking into the eyes of strangers as I pass them and smiling at them. In this way I can give from my heart to theirs; sometimes it is returned to me through a smile and a greeting back from them. In this way there is an "exchange" of Light between us, although it is not necessary for it to be returned to me. I take every opportunity to engage strangers in conversation, no matter how minor, and I share my Light with them: people in checkout lines with me, clerks, neighbors, professionals with whom I have business, etc. I try to project that I care about them by showing an interest in their lives. A 12-year old boy with fishing pole and tackle in hand walking toward me once said, "Hi. Are you having a good day?" I mused at the wonder of such an inquiry from one so young. He had the right idea, for he certainly brightened my day...his interest showed on his face, and I cannot forget his sincerity. Smiles and greetings and a show of interest are free and do so much to uplift those around us. I try to spread my love and light wherever I am. It brings so much joy to see another respond so quickly to being acknowledged. I am Sirius

show through ACTIONS that you care... a smile for a stranger...a hug for the kiddos... you never know what will brighten someone's day, so just do whatever your heart moves you to do.
For me, I've got my stepdaughter over here for the day so my MIL can take a long deserved break.
(((((((((MOON)))))))))))) I'm blessed by your presence. Hope your weekend is GREAT!

Tell them how much I think of them
Like, I think you are wonderful and I love you as a dear and treasured friend and if I have ever, ever embarrassed them by forgetting to give hugs, that I am truly sorry.

Leave them to get on with it, unless you know them well. Otherwise, give them a hug and a chuckle. I find it seems to work every time, with man woman or beast. But not with missionaries.

I can and did till my neighbors garden. And NO, that is not a metaphor for anything other than actually ...tilling their garden.
