Athiests of the type, that deny using their spritual senses at all to find answers, will expect science to provide every answer they require. They believe that science, is unlimited in its capablility of reaching all answers, related to our existence. They tend to be clueless, when it comes to dealing with the side of reality, that is beyond science's reach, the spiritual realm and God. Some atheists do understand the spiritual, but just don't buy into standard definitions of God.

Christians do not believe in it and preach against it.

These things are yet another very minor cult belief without any proof and scientifically unprovable. Now and then a psychic or paranormal test appears to show results but On closer analysis the tests are found to be scientifically flawed.

What is proved beyond doubt is that anyone following any sort of belief system strives to make others believe it and seek prove through devious ways.

And why pick on atheists anyway? What about all the other religions. It is even more perverse than that because if you follow the definition atheist simply do not believe in a God of any sort so as long as the paranormal and supernatural do not involve belief in a God then they are entirely free to believe!!!!!

It is also extremely interesting that many people here seem to be more intent on being anti atheist than pro God - is this becoming a new religion?

They are things we have yet to understand, but we're making the effort to. Questions are usually eventually answered.

Disease used to be considered the work of demons, but we now know that they are caused by genetic problems, or by bacteria, or by virus'.

Can you seriously tell me that 2000 years ago anyone that saw a computer would have been comfortable with it? It would have been the work of the devil to harness electricity never mind create something like a computer.

So supernatural and paranormal? They are simply things we have YET to understand. That doesn't mean we never will.

Atheists have learned to accept and be comfortable with "I don't know and I'll keep searching until I find out even if I never do find the answer". Are you? Or are you so desperate for easy and complete answers that you'll accept a myth of "gawd diddit" rather than continue the search?

There was a time when eclipses were also considered supernatural, now that we know the explaination, we know that it's perfectly natural. Everything that happens must have an explaination, we just don't know it, that's all.

Every event or phenomena has a natural explanation, even if we don't yet know what it is. Mysteries abound in the Universe. We can make an earnest attempt to understand them or else surrender to superstition. I choose the former.
