Are the Fundie wife beating methods ineffective or something.

Wife beating occurs in all countries and all cultures. It all depends on the man. My father beat my mother and he wasn't a Fundamentalist or a Muslim. He was simply a Christian, but I don't think that all Christian men beat their wives.
Also, in Islam, men aren't allowed to beat their wives, but many Muslim men still do it just like many Christian men do it as well despite the fact that it is against their religion.
Like I said before, it all depends on the man.

Dukem, I think ALL people are appalled at this and curious that there are actual counselors on how to beat wives "properly" Your post detracts from the actual issue which is the fact that they have people that teach men how to beat their wives..sanctioned by their religion and culture. Youre grasping at straws to make this some sort of Christian issue. Get over yourself.

This is a loaded question ... just like asking ' Have you stopped beating your wife yet '.
I have only known 2 'Fuddies' , neither of them beat their wives to my knowledge and neither of them expressed an interest in ANY muslim advice, let alone wife beating advice.
Let's try and keep the questions a little bit more sensible on YA , can we?

JUST KIDDING! Men in the west, even fundies are normally above such barbarity and unlike those middle eastern countries could land themselves in jail for such violence.

Didn't know anyone was supposed to beat on anyone, Jesus said if someone smacks one side of your cheek , to turn and give them the other, but I know that is to tell us not to seek revenge, we are to love one another not hurt one another.
