Well, how would YOU feel if your kids rejected you and everything you stood for? Especially if they decided to hang out with somebody who you KNOW will eventually hurt them?

You can't hurt the feelings of something that doesn't exist.
Not only that but if your god has feelings, then why would he not be the angry god your bible keeps talking about?
You can't have it both ways.. your god is either emotional (which means he's capable of anger and cruelty as well as love and affection and that he's responsible for creating a hell where people can suffer for all eternity for saying his name in vane and not being sorry for it - btw, your gods name is Jehovah, not god, so if someone says "oh god" it could mean anything so it wouldn't offend your god since his name is not god-) or he isn't in which case there's no reason why he'd care about humanity one way or the other other than as lab rats in which case he definately wouldn't bother going around and granting your wishes.

I really wish you would say outright that *you* are offended and *your* feelings are hurt, rather than hiding behind God and guessing what he thinks. If God is what you say he is, he's more than capable of expressing his own feelings himself. If you spoke as a human being instead of arrogating responsibility over God's extremely tender feelings to yourself, you might even find that people start treating you and your beliefs with more respect!

Try this.
A long time ago, if you worshipped someone other than god, the christians said "Oh, god doesn't like that!" And burned you at the stake for being a heretic.
Now isn't that nice?
