Or just some of them? And what are some ways that they can be answered?

He can answer prayers through other people, through events, through promptings to act or to avoid something, and He can answers prayers by allowing us to act for ourselves before he answers our prayer and in time it will be answered.

No. Universe is a complicated thing.

- You are more likely to have your prayer answered if you pray a lot and show true, internal willingness to make this thing happen. Because the more you pray, the more powerful your energy becomes. In God's world thoughts and feelings are real.

- You are more likely to have your prayer answered you have showed 100% effort towards what you are praying for, done all you can. Because prayer is not meant to accomplish something you could do yourself.

- You are more likely to have your prayer answered if it concerns mainly you. Because you have the biggest power in regards to your own life. To an extent it is also more likely to have your prayer answered if it concerns someone who knows you are praying for this and agrees that it should happen.

- You are more likely to have your prayer answered if the outcome wouldn't cause harm to other people. Because, fortunately, it's the light that answers prayers, not the darkness.

- You are more likely to have your prayer answered if it doesn't conflict with a bigger scheme. Let's say, if you pray to win a competition that is not VERY important to you but you'd still want to win it, and another contestant has their life depending on it (whether they know it or not), the other one might need to win it.

- You are more likely to have your prayer answered if it leads to growth rather than gives an easy option. Because that's what you should do, improve and grow as a person. For example, if you start developing a cancer and you pray it would go away but there is actually a vital learning experience in store for you with that cancer, you might have to have that cancer. You will learn things, and you will improve. (Logically, if you figure out your what you need to realise and learn the thing beforehand, you are able to avoid a lot of difficult experiences)

There are probably some other aspects too, but these came to mind now.

depending on the kind of prayer God gives three answers to our prayers 1. Yes 2. No and 3. Wait
Since God knows what is best for us, he gives us the best. So keep on praying and have faith that he will give the best answer

I think God always answers prayers in the same way a benevolent, loving father answers the needs and wants of his children. It depends on the attitude and manner of the child when they ask and the very best outcome for the child in the father's considered judgment.
I feel that analogy applies with God except there is no "I can't afford it".

Well, think of it this way...PRAYER always changes something!! Things are not different after your prayer,,its powerful. Now, it may not come in the way that you want, but change will indeed occur. You need to be watchful, and look around and you will see, so yes, prayer changes things.
Imagine you throw a stone into water,,there are rings of water all around it...and it gets bigger and bigger. THAT is what prayer is, you throgh the stone...
The key is this, think about GOD, more then the problem, and in proportion to that,,,you will have your healing!

God answers prayers according to His will for your life. It's not about what we want. And not answering prayers doesn't mean God is ignoring you or does not care.
It may not be the right time, or it's just not what He wants. But communication with Him is important - you can't only talk to Him when you need something - He probably won't answer those.

You also might want to take a look at what the Bible says about God and praying.

God doesn't promise to answer all of our prayers, but he does listen to them, and sometimes His answer is no. To understand His answers to your prayers you need to be open and be trustful that they will be answered. I had a negative coworker, finally gave all power to God to relieve the pressure. Two weeks later staff was offered an early retirement package and I took it, got rid of the stress and have been enjoying my family.

God always hears our prayers. He will eventually answer, though it may not come right off, or in the way you expect it to come. Sometimes we may think God didn't hear or answer, and then a long time later we realise that He did--just didn't do what we thought we wanted Him to do at the time. Fortunately God is a lot smarter than me, and He has often given me the answer I needed instead of the one I wanted.

You may have to wait for it, however.

I don't know if I am qualified to answer this question or not.I am not believer in the god that seems to be the most popular religion.I think it is what you believe to be true.He may answer them in his own way.You might not know when he answers them or even if he does. But it is your belief in him that he will is the answer.
Some people say that he does answer prayers and some say he doesn't.But it is what you feel in your heart. If your beliefs are strong and you love your god,I suppose he will listen and do his best to answer you the way he sees is right.
So to answer your question. If your belief in your god is strong and you are not looking for the perfect solution to "your" needs.I would say yes,he does answers prayers.

No. But he does hear you. If you have an unanswered prayer, there is a reason for it... you may go the rest of your life with out knowing the reason, but there certainly is SOME reason... think of it this way... maybe some of your prayers have to go unanswered, to answer another one of your prayers...

Only if the request is in written form , properly addressed , and has the proper postage. Stamps for mail to heaven are somewhat expensive .
The way that your prayer is answered depends on the contract that you draw up .It takes a lot of bargaining .
