When I was stationed in Germany, German civilians would sponsor and have single soldiers over for holidays. It was nice since many of us were over there away from our own families.
The married soldiers wives would invite single soldiers over too. I would talk with a company commander and see what is needed. Could be as simple as letting him know to let his troops know that someone is willing to have them over.

Contact the public affairs at Ft. Richardson. Let them know what your intentions are.
You can also contact any random unit on Ft.Richardson and ask to speak to the 1SG or Company commander. I'm sure if you let them know of your intentions then they will let their units know.
Just FYI though the dining facility usually provides an awesome Thanksgiving dinner for the single soldiers IMO, but I'm sure that there are some soldiers out there that wouldn't mind eating a homecooked email. :)

Contact the Public Affairs Office at the local Air force/Army base.
Bless you!
My wife and I always had a house full when I was on active duty...the guys/gals who were single..and a few married with no family in the area. Once we had over 20 guys and gals in the house. Sure is quiet now with just the 2 of us.

see if you can locate a listing for public affairs or public relations office, if that does not work call the post Sergeant Majors office or even the post commanders office, and tell them what your wanting to do and I'll bet they can put you in contact with the people that can assist you on this matter, and as a ex-soldier, I think it's really great what your doing for our true American Hero's. Good Luck

Call the PAO (Public Affairs Officer) or Chaplains Office for the local base... I'm sure they would help you.
And THANK YOU !! I was invited to homes while overseas several times and it helped greatly with the holiday-blues.
As an instructor, I used to invite students over for Turkey-day, Xmas, and Easter meals.

I've seen in craigslist people inviting armed forces personnel to join them at their home for Thanksgiving.
I'm sure if you contacted the base commander he could certainly point you to a community liason to set this up as well.
Having been in the military I've had to put up with negative reactions from rare individuals, but knowing there are people like you who care about us made up for all the jerks.

I am sure there are plenty of young, single, military personnel, away from home and spending Thanksgiving up there in Alaska!
I am sure they will welcome a home cooked Thanksgiving Dinner, not to say that the base/post are doing a bad job with their Holiday feasts!
are you near any military bases? contact their public affairs office!

contact the Chaplain's office on the base closest to you, it is often that department that coordinates stuff like this. You should be able to get the contact info form the bases' website. if not just call the main number and they can give it to you.
