The council of Nicaea....
a self appointed governmental group of brown nosers intent on altering the laws and regulations to benefit themselves and take away from the little guy with double talk and fancy paperwork....

Neither. It was brought about by Constantine to consolidate one segment of Christianity: the churches of Nicomedia, Neocaesarea, and Alexandria.

Christ was brought about to organize His church. However, due to the limitations of the time, it became distorted and soon there was no central power. The counsel was an honest attempt to unify the teachings of the various Christian churches. I would not hold it as any more or less than that. No one present was a prophet to receive instruction from God.

No. The Council of Nicea was brought about to define Christianity. Christianity was around long before the Council of Nicea. If that wasn't true, they wouldn't have been able to define it.

It was ordered by Constantine, the Roman emperor. Doesn't the Nicene Creed read to you like the output of a committee?

A stronger Rome? Well - it wasn't strong enough to stop Luther from detaching millions from this monstrous heresy.

The "Council of Nicea" was brought about by satan. God established Christianity upon the Rock of Jesus Christ. Papal Rome departed from that Standard.
