First I'll answer your question, YES I know God answers prayer...do I think he will give you back your money...only if it was HIM who told you to give it away...now I'd like to say to Xheyyyyx & Candykys....God answered your prays...HE just said NO....and no is ok ....it just doesn't feel good to us because we can't see the whole picture like HE can ...so pppppppppppplease don't stop praying...you really were given an answer...it just wasn't what you wanted to hear...and were you really listening....sometimes....... later we find out why HE said no....and you'll go ooooooh so that was why .....hang in there you will get some yeses....really you will.

God knows you are very immature in your faith, he did this to encourage you in beleiving in his power, but dont expect him to always do this when you act irresponcible giving away your subsistance money your family needs. charity begins at home.

God does indeed work in mysterious ways. He will always give you what you need, He will always answer your prayers.

Of course I do believe, but please don't gamble.
To those people who as they say " God hasn't answered their prayers" well haven't you thought WHY you're prayers wasn't answered? God knows what is best for you and maybe what you wished for could've brought you harm.
God is always with us and he will answer the prayer of the people who ask him. So believe in God, have faith in him and he'll answer your prayers.

Why doesn't God heal amputees?
And if you don't have any money, you should not be buying lottery tickets.
But Kudos to giving money to charity.

If I said I had a pink pixie in my pocket that makes me chocolate chip cookies whenever I want them, would you believe me?
It's too bad "god" is ignoring the pleas of starving children everywhere -- they needed that money a lot more than you, I promise you.

No, I would believe God. I know God answers prayers because he's answered mine.

It doesn't seem much of a reward for believing in god. There are richer atheists.
