God is a God of Love, Mercy, and Justice.
EVERYONE who is ever born into mortality will have an opportunity to live with their spouse in Gods presence.
The question that you should ask is "Does the Mormon church teach truth". If they don't then they're wrong and there's no such thing as a Mormon heaven.
.......However, if they do teach the truth, as they claim to be, then it means several exciting things.
1. God has a prophet on the earth that he speaks to and is chosen to lead Christ's church on earth.
2. Truth can be accessed and learned.
3. That the Book of Mormon, like the Bible, teaches Gods truth and can help clarify the murky teachings of the Bible.
4. You can be baptized by someone who has the authority to do so.
5. You can receive the gift of the holy ghost as a constant companion.
6. You can learn the true gospel of happiness.
7. You can learn what is required to enter Gods presence again.
8. You can learn what must be done to live with your spouse as husband and wife forever.
So,............
-Invite the missionaries over and learn about the basic teachings
-Read the Book of Mormon humbly and sincerely
-Pray to god, with faith and real intent, and ask him to tell you if it is true of if it is false.
God teaches truth to those who seek it. Ask him, and not Yahoo Answers.

Well, considering that there is not a single Christian religion that believes marriages are eternal, if mormons are wrong then according to your current Christian denomination you;ll be seperated from your wife anyways. If you dont believe me, ask you preacher/pastor if marriage exists in the afterlife.
However, if that doctrine doesn't sound right to you either, maybe you should learn more about Mormon doctrine on eternal marriage before you twist what you've heard to condemn us and our belief.
So to answer your question, its up to you if you want to be together forever, not the mormons or God.

We are actually the only religion that believes families can be together forever. God wants you to be happy. Whether you want what He has to offer is up to you. But it is not His intent to punish you. You may be happier than your Mormon counterparts. But happiness alone does not seal a family together for eternity. I'm not saying you will never see them again or be able to be with them. I'm not exactly sure how that is all gonna work out. I do know that if a marriage is not sealed it is dissolved at death.

I, as a Christian, believe that God is the creator of the heavens and the earth. God is allpowerful and loves me and everyone else very much.
Bad things don't happen because God is doing it. It is because Satan is doing it. God has to show the world that there is sin in it so that we know the difference from right and wrong.
If you pray to God then He will take care of you.

Did your ceremony say "Till death do you part"? Or "for time and all eternity"? If it was the first, then it is until you die. That isn't God's choice. It was an earthly contract, not an eternal contract.
As far as your kids go, they will choose on their own where they want to be. They will be judged the same as you and I will be. God will put them where they will be most comfortable. That all depends on what you do in life. There are certain things that God requires of each of us. If we aren't willing to do those things, He isn't held to any promise. He isn't the one that is going to break that promise, it will be us.
God is a God of law and consequence. He follows natural laws, and He expects us to follow them too. It isn't about just following what God wants of us, it's obedience to Him. We can do what He asks, but if our hearts aren't in it, we are doing it for the wrong reasons, and it's as if we never did it in the first place.

>>Will God tear us apart?<<
Is your marriage for Time (til death do us part) or for Time and eternity? God has given you a choice on how long you can be married. You make the Choice not God.
>Will he take our precious kids and give them to others?<<
They will make thier own choices on where they wish to reside in eternity.
Basically, God gives us choices...and based upon what we choose, is how things will be in the eternity. Unless one of your "unhappy" Mormon friends do your temple work for you...you are only married for Time. Your Choice...not Gods.
We beleive in choice and accountability.

No, Keep your wife and kids, get sealed in the Temple with your family and have them forever.
It's probably more like Knotts where you can get 1/2 price discounts.

You will be judged by Christ. He will reward with with what you deserve. No one on earth is here to tell you what you will deserve. My question to you is "are you going to die with your kids?" God promises that those that are sealed to their families by His power will be reunited. He does not make that promise to others. Am I here to tell you that you will or will not ever see your kids after you die, no. That is for Christ to judge.
And yes, God is a God where you have to pay a price to get into heaven. The price is called justice. It is a price so high none of us can afford it ourselves, so we have a Savior, Jesus Christ who payed the price for us. All He asks is that we have faith in Him and follow Him.
