all the time. We have the same friends in youth (we're in our 20s) and I see her dropping our kids off at nursery all the time. She's cordial, but very distant. She refuses to have a conversation with me. When we're in a group conversation and I chyme in, she completely ignores me. She is starting to make me think the she is really being a snob. I have no clue why..I've made various efforts. I would just leave it alone and move on, but I can't help but be distracted by this during praise and worship at church....when she is supossed to be a leader. We're somewhat new to the church and I would think she should try to make me feel welcome. I would say she is shy, but she's super outgoing to other people...And she's on stage in front of 100's of people. Should I keep trying, if not...how do I keep it from hindering my worship. If it gets worse should I tell a leader. If I were a new Christian, it might truly affect my spiritual life.

She may have been so hurt by another person that she seems stand offish to you. I know that I am very friendly around others that I know and trust, but I am distrant to those that I don't know very well. I am so afraid of someone hurting me and getting too close. If you feel comfortable you chould talk to her about it. Why not send a card and tell her that you are thinking about her and appreciate what she does for the church with a flower or a box of candy. This will help her let her guard down. Maybe she needs you to affirm her.

Give it some time to work out, in the mean time focus in on serving the Lord. Maybe there is a reason for the way she acts and it is something that at the present time you don't need to be dealing with. Romans 8:28, All things work together for good, remember, trust in the Lord and do his will, and you will have the best that it can be in Christ Jesus.

Well honestly if I were you and that just happened, with everything you described, I think I would be finding a new place of worship. I wouldnt want to be lead by someone like that. And if you think if you were a new christian and it would affect your spiritual life, well I think that tells me that she isnt much of (I am guessing) christian or whatever religion you believe in...

Some people are just very focused and don't mean to be unfriendly, don't let this annoy you instead pray and ask the Lord to intervene someway.

Not everyone's perfect, but off hand, I'd say that she doesn't really have a true gift. I'd talk to God immediately if I were you and see what sort of answers you get.
