I have a 15 month old that I'd like to take to the Bee movie but, I also have a 3 month old (very well behaved) that would be tagging along...do you think it's safe for the 3 month olds' ears?

If you read the question, I'm concerned with the loudness of the theatre for my 3 month olds' ears...not the other movie go-ers...I would, of course, go to the showing at family time.

I would take my older daughter to movies while the younger one was still a baby. I would plan the movie around nap time and show up early so that it was not too loud and in the quiet dark theatre I would cradle her until she fell asleep. She pretty much always slept through the whole movie.
I dont think you will have a problem with the 3 month old, however unless your 15 month is also very well behaved, kids that young dont stay sitting down for a whole movie, regardless of how good it is. My daughter did not sit through a whole movie until she was 3, before that, she would sit for 20 minutes and then spend the rest of the time walking up and down the stairs and sitting in all the other empty seats in our row.
I would say, try it, what is the worst that can happen? If it doesnt work out, walk out and try again when they are older.

Personally, I wouldn't take either to the movie unless it's one of those special "kids time" things where they show the movie during the day and it's all kids for like $2. A 15 month old has about a 20 min attention span when it comes to movies and it will be too loud for a 3 month old. Unless you've already taken the 15month to a movie and they watched the whole thing...I would skip it and wait for it to come on DVD.

i would ask some one to watch the baby, not because of her ears, you are going to need to be attentive to the 18 month old and make it an adventure for him/her, i am sure it is there first movie at a theater i think it should be like a date with mom, alone time well deserved for being a great new big sister or brother, it the baby gets scared or hungry and you have to take them out the 18 month old will pay the price, not fair for the 18 month old leave the baby at home for alone time with dad

I think it would be fine for the babies ears, however do you think that they will be able to keep quiet that long without upsetting other viewers.
I know one time I was in a movie and there was a couple that went and brought their baby and they ended up walking out and leaving because the baby wouldn't stop crying
so i guess it's your choice to be prepared to pull you guys out and lose out on some money, but maybe if you go during the day there won't be that many people..good luck :)

It's ok. Sit near the back and expect to be up and down a lot with your 15 month old. It's hard for little ones to sit still for that long. You might also try going to a weekday showing if possible, the theatre won't be too crowded and you won't annoy others if your kids are noisy.

Some theaters have very loud sound! I would check the theater first and if it is exceptionally loud I would not bring the baby. Adults and children have ways of trying to shield trhemselves from excessive noise but a baby can't do this.

I wanted to take my daughter too, but even at 20 months old, i dont think its time yet. She gets excitied and can talk really loud... while she would enjoy it, its not fair to the other movie goers. good luck!!

Only when they are old enough to actually watch the movie. Nothing more irritating in a movie theater than a crying child.
Please know I adore children. My Husband and I have 5 children plus six Grandchildren. We have always made it a point to be considerate of others when we had our children in a public place.
