It depends on how long she doesn't eat. Eating nothing for a few days is not all that dangerous, though it is a terrible method of weight control. (It doesn't address the long-term eating and activity habits that cause us to put on extra weight in the first place.)

If you are really concerned that she won't eat for a long time, or that she has a serious eating disorder - you MUST tell her parents or another trusted adult at school if you're minors.

If she's an adult, you could try helping her plan a low-calorie diet to help her lose weight permanently. You could even cook lean meats in small portions, along with whole grains and plenty of fruits and veggies to bring to her, or plan dinners together and eat at each other's house every other night.

But if she doesn't want your help, there's really very little that you can do if she's an adult. You can't make her eat. No one can. You can only try to be her friend, find out what kind of help is available and recommend it to her, or, if it's dragging you down too much, get her out of your life.

Tough choices, but that's all you get sometimes, I'm afraid.

Talk, to her. That is not a healthy way, to lose weight. She still needs to eat and drink. She just needs to watch her portion. She needs to eat. Oatmeal, fruits and veggies baked not fried food. Drink lots of water, and lean meat. Baked Fish.
