I guess what I'm trying to say is If you beleive in your Religion however you decide to beleive in it & do whatever you want to do DO IT Y must you try to convert others. I BELEIVE IN GOD I don't need to have GODs message beeing in my face EVERYWHERE I turn. like I've said before if YOU BELEIVE GOOD keep gathering doing whatever you do, but just because YOU think it's right/holy whatever. STOP throwing GOD in peoples faces like a piece or realty you must sell.

Christianity is not about judging anyone. In fat we are commanded not to judge. It can seem like judgement because a foundation is stated that there are people that are saved to heaven and others nto saved to Hell. This is not based on mans thought, but on hundred of verses in the bible that God has written. The bible is for all to read.

I've been here a while, and R&S seems proper enough for me. If you add "responsible" to it, that would just be hypocritical because more than 1/2 the respondants are not serious, and not only that, they take delight in mocking religion and/or spirituality. We should just call this the Venting section. Those with serious questions tend to get buried and are difficult to find.

No, just Religion & Spirituality. Sometimes there are occurances that responsibility just can't get us through without coming close to melting down. Natural disasters and layoffs are a couple of examples. Yes, I agree with you that there are some so called Christians out there who actually wear their religion like a military medal of honor on their chest and try to bully some like a Marine Corp Drill Instructor. However, I believe the majority are just common folk like myself who rely on our faith and/or spirituality to keep upright so that we may get through and carry on the common responsibilies of every day life.

It sounds like you have been hurt and put down alot by Christians. I think that we can answer your questions and disagree, but we need to do it with respect. God is love and pure love. He does not beat us down, but encourages us, even if we do not believe in Him. He is always working to make life better, and as a Christian it is my responsibility to speak the Truth, but not in a hateful way. I am sorry that you have been offended. We are all not like that.

I think it should be renamed Religion/Spirituality and Intolerance, because that's a lot of what goes on here. And your threat to block people right off the bat proves the "intolerance" part. What's the matter, can't handle anyone disagreeing with you? Grow up. Oh, and go ahead and block me... I don't give a rat's derriere.

Spell check can be your friend. I don't give a rat's @ss if you block me because of your inability to spell. Keep on ranting, no one's really listening anyhow.

When he'd been arbitrary or arrogant or just plain wrong, he'd never suggested this was justified by anything other than the fact that he was bigger and stronger and occasionally nastier than other people. He'd never suggested it was because he was better.
