before i got the curl relaxer, i had naturally tight curls . my hair is currently wavy/curly but not tight its pretty much loose. ive had had the perm since mid february so its about 9 months. however, i do miss my old tight curls. my hair stylist said the perm will washout within 6 months, so by august 2007. how do i get the same tight curl look without getting my hair permed to tight curls?

you probably wont ever have your tight curls like you used to. maybe eventually you will once the chemically relaxed hair grows out. it depends how strong the relaxer was. if youre really concerned, go back to your hairdresser and ask. maybe ask other hair dressers for their opinion. and dont perm your hair, that can only lead to chaos.

You can use shampoos/ conditioners for curl enhancement (herbal essences has a line). Or, you can get a light perm...but you should wait at lest 8 weeks to prevent severe damage and hair loss...What i normally if i want the "curl" look after relaxing my hair is as soon as i get out the shower, scrunch my hair with herbal essences "totally twisted scrunching gel"

Hope this helps! =>

well you could get a curling iron. After a while you're hair will want to stay in tight curls. it's the natural way to keep your hair curly because it will want to stay after a few weeks or so. I hate to use hairespray because it makes your hair feel dirty so i experimented with all sorts of hair. trust me on this one it will work
it may take a bit longer with your hair because it depends on the t hinkness

the relaxer only worked on the hair that you had at the time as your hair grows out it will resume it's original shape. if you cannot wait for nature to take it's course then have your beautician strip out the relaxer that was applied.
